Monroe’s Orchard
Monroe's Orchard Apple Harvest Festival in Hiram going on the next 2 Saturdays! In addition to apple picking and the farm store, there are all kinds of fall festivities to enjoy. There's a pick- your-own pumpkin patch, free hay rides, a little train ride through the orchard, face painting, a food truck, photo ops and free samples.
The hay ride, face painting and an apple and apple cider samples are free. The train ride is $2 for kids, $3 for adults. Apple picking is $15 for 1/2 peck and $30 for 1/2 bushel. (If you're wondering how many apples is in 1/2 a peck, we ended up with 10lbs! That's $1.50/lb- better than the grocery store!)
The Festival is going on Saturday, Sept. 28th and Oct. 5th, and apple picking is also open Fridays and Sundays from 11-4.
