The new Beachwood Playground lives up to ALL the hype! You won't find any same-old playground equipment here! This 3-million plus dollar project was just finished in May and has all the fun things!! Climbing mounds, a 25-foot climbing tower with slides, a huge rock wall, large sand pit, a huge rope climber and more!! This park is truly ADA friendly with large walkways, an accessible zip line, and a wheelchair swing and merry-go-round. There is a large covered pavilion and lots of flower towers for shade. The surface of this playground was a good portion of the playground budget, which is great because the whole playground area is covered in a spongy rubber surfacing, putting parents at ease!

This playground is right next to the Beachwood Pool which offers benefits like shared concessions and bathrooms, but note that the parking lot is also shared, so it can get busy! Also, the pool is only open to residents.
